Brittany is a native to Delaware.  Her mother, Sharon, is a home infusion nurse and in her spare time is active in their church, St. Philip's Lutheran.  Her father, Delphos Jr. (Del for short) is a nurse anesthetist who in his spare time enjoys playing with his dog, Maddie, and brewing homemade beer.  Most of Brittany's extended family lives in Delaware, all up and down the state.  Brittany has two sisters.  Her older sister, Kelly, has been married to Carl for 15 years and they have 5 children together: Logan, Macey, Aubrey, Torey, and Sadey.  Kelly enjoys scrapbooking, reading, and her TV shows and movies (especially True Blood and the Twilight series!).  Brittany's younger sister, Meghan, just graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelors in Arts in Leadership, and will start Pharmacy school in the fall at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.  Meghan loves running, shoes, and finding great clothes for bargain prices.

Brittany graduated in 2004 as valedictorian of her class.  She attended the University of Delaware, majoring in Women's Studies and Disabilities Studies, until 2009, when she had to take a medical leave from school due to a diagnosis of Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy/Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (RSD/CRPS).  Brittany will be having surgery in July 2010 to place a spinal cord stimulator in her back, which will help to improve the situation with the RSD/CRPS.  Once better, Brittany hopes to return to college and obtain her Bachelor's.

While at UD, she was active in Alpha Phi Omega (the national coed community service fraternity) and Phi Beta Chi (a national sorority known for its Christian background), and was also a member of the Equestrian Team.  Since going on medical leave, Brittany has discovered a love of scrapbooking, jewelry making, and rediscovered cross stitch.  She loves listening to music and reading.  Brittany was baptized and confirmed  at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church (Wilmington, Delaware) and transferred to St. Philip's Lutheran Church (Wilmington, Delaware) her first year of college.  Since transferring, Brittany has been very active in the church, along with the rest of her family.  She also has a love of animals, and will always have a special place in her heart for Bali, the family Keeshond.
